Natural ways to cure sleeping disorders: Insomnia, Sleep Apnea, and Bruxism.
Hello All, Dan here from SleepRequired.com. Today I would like to talk about some of the natural cures that I found to work the best to cure my insomnia. It turns out that these cures are universal for curing other sleep disorders like Sleep Apnea and Bruxism.
The two things that I have found to have the most improving effect on your quality of sleep are:
- Regular Exercise
- Keeping a regular sleeping cycle
Now I know that a lot of you are looking for instant cures or cures that don’t require you to do anything. All I can say to you is to get off your lazy butt and do something. If you sit around waiting for miracle pills or miracle cures that will instantly cure your problems, then you can forget about getting better.
Exercise really does work!
Exercise…I don’t want to! Fine, then don’t! But don’t expect to see any improvements. I have found exercise to be the best thing to do to fix most sleeping disorders. Exercise burns off all those extra chemicals in your body that cause depression, anxiety, and stress. By removing these chemicals out of your body, you will see improvements in your insomnia, sleep apnea, or bruxism since these are all related to stress in one way or another.
Sleep Apnea is also tied to being overweight. Working out will burn off those extra pounds, in turn helping your sleep apnea problem. One thing I want to add is that don’t think that after one night of working out that you are going to see some improvement. This is almost never the case. I found that it takes about a month of steady working out until you see the best results.
Get into a regular sleeping cycle.
Being an insomniac, getting into a regular sleeping cycle has been the hardest thing for me to do. Some days I will force myself to go to bed at 4am(which is early for me), but after a few days of that I can go back to going to bed at 6am in the blink of an eye. Keeping a regular cycle is hard to do, no doubt, but I found that I feel a lot better in the morning if I keep up the same sleeping cycle for 2 or more weeks at a time.
Anyway, don’t let these sleeping problems get you down. Most of them can be fixed naturally with the above tips. Just keep putting conscious thought into the above areas and you will see an improvement in no time.

Although many people with sleep apnea are overweight that isn’t the only cause of sleep apnea. Facial structure and enlarged tongues are also causes of Sleep apnea.
